How are we all today? Good, I hope. Before I get stuck into today’s Blog post I want to talk to you about one of my clients who I have seen today on a ZOOM call, he is happy for me to tell his story as I asked his permission, he has a very unique story to tell. He came to me around a year ago, from my records, it was June 2022! He is a good guy, he has a good background, a beautiful family, and children who adore him, he has a solid background! However, when he came to me he was BROKEN, I mean broken, he had no direction, no confidence, no self-worth, no self-belief, he had lost his wife through her finding someone new and he had just been made redundant! He saw one of my adverts on social media and decided to give me a call, he said at the time it was the last chance saloon, he didn’t know where to turn! I felt huge empathy towards him as I had been in his shoes, I had felt his pain, I had felt his disbelief in the world around him, he had lost all hope in everything! I do remember his first 15-minute strategy call with me, although it didn’t last 15 minutes it was more like an hour, I didn’t mind, and I never mind, we are never stuck on 15 minutes, it’s just a set time we like to work to, as I have said before you have to have a strategy in place for everything. In his first call, we didn’t do much planning if I am honest, I just let him talk, I needed to understand the whole situation and I needed to know how he was feeling at that particular moment. With my skill set as he did explain, I knew the right questions to ask to go deeper, without him understanding what I was doing. I think the first call was just for him to let off steam, he wasn’t angry, just very emotional, but we got through it and we penciled in another call for a week later. I explained to him I could help him find himself again, but it will take time, and it will be painful at times, but in twelve months, he won’t recognize himself from this period in his life.
We met a week later in a more relaxed atmosphere, he was calm, but I could see he was struggling, just a very low energy, very slow-moving energy followed by quite a lot of pain internally, I could feel it even through the computer, I can pick up on how others are feeling very easily, sometimes it isn’t great though and you get it mixed up with your own energy, but I understand that now and I can ground myself pretty quickly! In that hour call, we put pen to paper and started working on a plan to piece him and his life back together again, I didn’t say “Oh I will fix you or it will take six months” I said “We can work together and I can help you find balance again” “But you will be doing the work” You need to be prepared for that, I will guide you, but you need to do the work” He agreed and we had a call the following week. I set out his achievement goals, as I normally do, and we had targets to reach. I won’t be able to tell you everything we put in place, but I worked on his foundations first which was his “SELF IMAGE” I knew and I know that how he saw himself right now was the first port of call! We worked on this for eight weeks (Two months) and he approved massively, he managed to get a little job that wasn’t like his past job as he was working within a corporate business earning a very high salary, but he wasn’t ready for that yet! The new job gave him something else to think of without stress, yes financially it was harder for him, but this was always going to be a short-term fix, never OUR long-term goal. After two months we started working on his confidence again, at the beginning, it was about stability, now we were clearing and creating his foundations to rebuild. This guy and I can’t use his name is intelligent, very intelligent he didn’t need me to teach him to be GREAT, he was GREAT, but he didn’t believe he was great! So we worked for the following 12 weeks on his confidence, I was giving him tasks to do, I was opening him up from personal and spiritual perpective, and he was growing hugely FAST speed. We continued throughout a solid year, four calls a month for twelve months and we had probably our final call today! I shall tell you where he is in his life now, he has a new partner, he is very happy and in love, he is getting married at the beginning of next year, he is back working for a corporate business earning now 30% extra on top of his salary he was once on, he is balanced, grounded, his confidence is well through the roof, he is a credit to himself and I am very proud of him, he did it, I didn’t do anything, all I did was guide him, he did it all himself and it’s something to be very proud of. The reason I am telling you this story is that I want you to know, no matter where you are in life, it doesn’t matter how low you are feeling, you can always climb to the top again, you are meant to climb to the top, that’s the whole reason these things happen to you, it’s because you are meant to rebuild yourself because when you rebuild you always rebuild better, stronger, faster, that’s why you have me and my team and ALL THE COACHES around the world, we are here to guide you back!
