So Today we’re going to touch on some important solutions regarding GROWING YOUR AUDIENCE which is of course the key to being successful online. Although I am not going to give all my secrets away and believe me I have plenty, I can help you put some basics in place which will help you establish a better understanding of the online Digital Marketing World. Before I start I do want to do a little sales plug 🙂 our first Strategy will be available on pdf and video tutorials in September 2023, and yes you got it, it’s going to be based on Digital Marketing! These will be easy-to-follow and easy-to-implement pdf and video tutorials, which you can simply implement into your business step by step and then reap the rewards, it’s a win-win for everyone. The topics that will be covered in the pdf and video tutorials will be Email Marketing, Lead/Sales Funnels, Social Media implementation, Freelancing, and Copywriting. Using this information you will be able to start a Digital Business or Grow one.
I won’t Sales Pitch it too much as we have a lot to cover in this blog, this blog will cover THREE important tips about how to grow your Audiences.
Your Social Media Audience:-
With email marketing the most important factor for me is your “Audience” If you don’t have an “Audience” then you have no one to sell to, and if you don’t have anyone to sell to guess what? NO SALES! Before you start any campaigns you need to focus on building your “Audience” It’s like a comedian, if he was in a room with no one there, he has no one to feed off of, no one to listen to, no one to laugh, therefore no one passes on how good he/she is and then no one will ever show up to his or hers shows. How do we build that “Audience”? There are some clear obvious ones that we all know of one of which is Social Media, the problem with growing your audience through social media, most businesses don’t have the advertising budget to be able to compete, however, there are many things you can do to level the bar so to speak, although they do take a lot more time and effort. One thing you should remember with Social Media and Building your audience it takes time, and you need patience, in my experience, you need to be posting organically twice a day, and your posts need to have value! What I mean by value is they need to be something someone needs, whether it’s information, gift, or discount code, it needs to be valuable to people, so always think before you post, what would I like to see myself? What would make me write a message? Always see it from the buyer’s point of view. TIP, on your posts, always keep the same color scheme, follow the same pattern and the social media algorithms pick this up far quicker. Depending what you are selling would depend on what social media platform to focus on, as my advice from experience is to concentrate on one social media platform at a time, so for example, if you were selling ‘Makeup’ I would go with Facebook, because of the front store shopping they have, although this platform can be a good service provider as well. If you were selling a freelance service like copywriting I would go onto Twitter, because it is based on writing and copywriting is writing! Again Instagram focuses heavily on images and is connected to Facebook so I would say it would be better for showing products, the same with TikTok, LinkedIn is slightly different I think this is more service driven in my experience this is my favorite platform, as well as Twitter. Let’s say you chose Facebook as your platform of choice, I would give at least six months working on that platform to build your audience, then once you have a good following I’d move on to another social media platform, truthfully and again it depends on what you are selling but Facebook is a good place to start especially if you have a good healthy personal profile following friends and family. TIP, when on Facebook, make sure you have a business page, but also a group page. My advice is to work heavily with groups, add groups in your chosen niche, interact with posts from those groups, and place your posts on their groups. Again, you need to be patient, and you need to repeat every day, I mean every day to be successful, you need to post value, and remember always ‘VALUE’ if it’s not going to engage you, then it won’t engage anyone else.
Your Blog Audience:-
Growing your Blog audience can be difficult I am not going to lie, but if it is done right it can be the most profitable. There is something about writing a beautiful blog, I always look at it as writing a journal, it’s a great way to release, not only that it’s great to give back to people like you who are kindly reading my Blog. Although this is the hardest form of building your audience, it is the most rewarding on so many levels. Blogging connects beautifully to social media, it gives you new posts to post on Social media sharing your blog, and as you grow your Social Media Platform whether it’s your page or group, these people will eventually start crossing over to your blog, which grows your audience on Social Media, but also grows your audience on your blog. An important step in writing a blog again is ‘VALUE’ You will be sick to death of hearing that word, but everything runs through it and to be successful online or in the real world in any sales position, you have to be thinking about ‘VALUE’ 24/7, if you don’t give value, you won’t do anything in business, but worry we will teach you as the weeks go on how to add value. As I said a Blog is a great way of starting a business because once you start writing regardless if you are selling anything or not at that particular time, everything you write about will be giving value out to others, so you are helping others and this is one of the keys to being successful in business full stop. I have done it myself at the beginning, only concentrating on the money, but if you do that it never comes, but if you concentrate on helping others, the money comes and it is just a bonus. TIP, when you start a blog, it’s important to know your niche beforehand, and what kind of products and services you may sell through your blog eventually, make sure your blog follows the same style theme, and color scheme as your posts on Social Media, everything has to flow! So, how do we advertise our blog? We’re going to share our blog posts on whatever social media platform we are concentrating on, so we will be advertising them, we can also share those posts on the groups that we have engaged with as if you engage with others, they will engage with you. TIP, When you engage with people on Facebook for example in their groups on their posts, read the comments, and if you see a comment that relates to what you have written about in the past or a product you have to sell, write them a short message and ask them to take a look, this works well if you are selling a free e-book, but you will find peoples ‘PAINS’ in the comments, then it’s your job to match what you are doing to solving their ‘‘PAINS’. TIP, another way to grow your audience with a blog is to look at other ways to get your blog seen, and the best way to do this is by joining Blog sites, these sites are where people like yourself can place your blog posts for others to see in your chosen niche, I have found that ‘MEDIUM’ is a good website to start, but remember it takes time, so be patient.
Your YOUTUBE Audience:-
Now not everyone likes to be in front of a camera I know, but let me tell you that confidence can be made, so just because you are not confident today, doesn’t mean that you won’t be tomorrow, and if you stick to reading this blog weekly, watching our videos, you will gain more and more confidence, we are here for you, myself and my team want the best for you! YouTube is a good platform to grow an audience, one reason is that you put a face to the brand, it becomes personnel, people deal with people, and people buy from people, so when you make it more personnel, people can relate to you more and it helps you get your message out quicker. If you do lack confidence in getting in front of a camera, let me give you a little TIP, First thing is to not care what anyone thinks, you will hardly ever meet these people face to face unless you are selling a service like being a Coach or Mentor, so it doesn’t matter what they think! Secondly, you don’t even have to put your face on a YouTube video, just do a voice-over slide production beforehand, until you have the confidence to show the world how wonderful you are. Put say ten slides together that are connected to the topic you wish to talk about and bring up each slide and discuss the bullet points, do this for a few weeks until you have the confidence to put yourself out there. If you do already have the confidence then put content out regularly, with??? Yes, you got it ‘VALUE’. How I have done this in the past, I organize all my topics for the week regarding social media posts and YouTube videos, this is your content! I convert all my posts in one day and use ‘CANVA’ to design and schedule, once they are done, I have scheduled all my posts for the week I don’t need to worry about them, I then work out what content I will do for my videos that week and work on the graphics on ‘CANVA’ that means my graphics are done for my videos, I know what content I will be putting out and I am ready to make videos on the day of release. I use ‘VIMEO’ for the editing and recording of my video posts, you make a video and add the graphics you made earlier in the week and it’s done, upload it to YOUTUBE, and away you go. TIP, Important factors in regards to growing your audience on YOUTUBE, you must remember to put information about the video in the subject before you post, you need to add hashtags, only three, they need to relate to the video post, and you need to describe what you are offering in the video, if you are covering a lot of information then you can put a time stamp below the video so people can go to their preferred part of the video, you can offer products and further services on this part along with advertising your blog and your website, this will grow your audience as people will look at your other videos if they feel the content is for them, they will visit your social media, they will visit your blog.
