Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, wherever you are in the world as we speak, Welcome to The Takeover Strategy, WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!

So, following on from our last Blog“IF YOU DON’T HAVE A BUSINESS STRATEGY, YOU WILL LOSE!” I’d like to be more in-depth on the subject and give you more insight into what you should be doing about putting a solid business strategy in place before you go down the rabbit hole of starting a new business. As we brought our last Blog to a close, the final topic we closed off on was Developing a concrete business plan. I suggest you read that Blog and catch up on the content, as this Blog will drift into that one. So, of course, other aspects relate to having a great strategy before you start a business; as I mentioned before, at this point, you have done all your research, you have piles of notes, and you are putting a strategy together, strategic planning monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and yearly. Let’s waste no time and get stuck, as we have much to get through in the Blog!

Building a brand/marketing Strategy:-

This is an essential step in your business evolution because branding is vital; it needs to reflect who you are and be a part of you. Don’t, and I repeat, don’t build a brand off of a false image of yourself, which means don’t try and be someone you are not; be you; people will elevate towards you because you are you if you do not do this, you will not attract good quality clients, because they will see through you. However, although it represents you, it should also appeal to your audience! So, if we take the takeover strategy blog, which was invented me, the colors represent me because I live in the light; this also resembles my core strength, my Solar plexus charka, my energy center where your emotions are stored, and your strength to manifest, your confidence, your self-belief. From a customer perspective, it stands out; it’s bright, it’s happy, it’s exciting, it’s full of light, it’s not corporate, it’s chilled, and this is the atmosphere we like to create for clients. We are serious about what we do, but we want our clients to feel no pressure; it’s our job to take that pressure away. Your branding is also based on what sector you are targeting; it might be the fitness industry or makeup, then you will need to represent yourself but also appeal to your clients, so in the fitness industry, you might have it full of energy and vibing colors, hip hop based, people listen to a lot of music in the gym, it motivates them, so perhaps you would have it geared towards music and being inspired, but again you need to represent your personality, don’t ever copy, get ideas, but never copy! Also, you need to put together a complete market strategy, which means getting to know your target audience; as I said before, you should have researched this thoroughly, so you will have in-depth knowledge of this already. in that research, I’d have hoped you looked at things like your target audiences behavior patterns, how they interact with your competitors, how your competitors interact with them, what gets the audience to interact? What are they interacting with? Is there a pattern? What do they seem to like and not like? You need to understand how your audience buys the product or service. Do they go through 3rd parties, or do they want to buy directly? What interests do they have a look at their social media profiles? Is there a pattern with people who have the same interests? You can then focus your organic posting on those people, or you can message those people through direct messaging, which we will discuss later.

Whether you are a bricks-and-mortar business or an online business, it works the same; if you take the takeover strategy, for example, the only thing that changes for us is the product or service being provided, our business model fits every business, every business is set up the same way, OK there are slight tweaks here and there, but there is an art in starting a business and growing it! What changes is dependent on what level we are going in at, It might be that your business is set up and doing OK, but just doing OK or it might be that your business is a start-up, or your business could be massively profitable. Still, you need it taken further and you don’t have the means to make that happen. What does change for us is when we are dealing with individuals, because everyone is different and they have their own story, this is where we have to adapt, but lucky for us that is our unique skill, we adapt and we have the answers for everything, which I am very grateful for. Getting back to the topic so you have researched, you have branded yourself, so it’s time to start to get a place where people can go to purchase your products or services; now, many will say yes you need a website straight away, but we guide our clients to do it slightly differently, yes you do need a website because you need a base, a home, you need somewhere to show off your products or services, of course, this is based on your starting a new business. Still, we suggest setting up your social media platforms first, and start traffic organically before you go live, many people will say get a website and then start building your audience, no, this is not the way! The whole idea about the internet or the digital world, is you have to build intrigue in everything; they can’t see the product or service or feel it, so you need to build intrigue in an audience, so we always start with social media and a blog. It will take you depending on time scales and availability. Let’s say you are working for another company as well, so I’d say 2/3 weeks; in this time, you should be posting regularly from your research, building an audience, telling them something new is coming, remember you are targeting the right audience, this will build intrigue in people, especially if you are writing the posts with the right content, building that intrigue and the tension, we always suggest doing this for three months! So, in that time, you have created a blog in three weeks while building an audience. the Blog is created, and you have nine weeks to fill the Blog with content while organically trafficking on social media. Once you know you are getting engagement to your Blog, meaning you can see a steady flow of potential customers, you start building a website for your products. Now, this is a very quick run-through of what needs to be done there is a lot more depth to it than this, and we would help guide you on what to do and help you implement at the correct times. So, let’s run through that again briefly, you’ve researched, you’ve branded, you have set up social media connections, you are actively posting, building intrigue of what is coming, and while doing that you are building a blog, which takes three weeks, you then fill the Blog with content, sharing on social media, you get a steady flow of potentials reading your Blog, this might take nine weeks, ten weeks, three months, four months, it is all depending on your content, but it’s mainly down to HOW WELL YOU RESEARCHED AT THE BEGINNING, and whether you took that solid three months researching? If you did, you are reaching the right people and could get a decent flow of potential customers in 9-12 weeks. When I say decent flow, this all depends on your product and service. If it was makeup, I’d want to see 30+ a day, based on your Blog, which is only 210 people a week over seven days! This is where patience comes in; you need to have patience at this point as sometimes it will take longer than you think but remain patient as it will happen. While you are doing the building on your Blog you can then focus your time on building a website for your products, this is a stage that can not be rushed! This is why we say it doesn’t matter how long it takes you to build that first initial audience up, in truth the longer the better because it gives you the time to put your website together with products ready for launch! The reason this process is so unique is that you are already building your brand and people are becoming familiar with you when they are familiar they are more inclined to purchase from you, because? Why? because you have built a relationship? They trust you, remember this and coaches forget this all the time, people buy from people, they buy from people and brands they can trust, the Blog is your trust-building platform, rather than going into a website straight away and building, you will build beforehand and then when you launch they will be desperate to purchase from you. Again there is much more detail involved in it than I am telling you, however, this gives you a rough idea of what is involved and how we grow your businesses here at the takeover strategy, we are professional individuals and know what we’re doing! If you already have a business then it’s different, we would look at your business model and look at implementing new things and changing, and updating things, many businesses are still two or three years behind! The problem is that the industry changes quickly, so if you can’t keep up you will get left behind. I always suggest to businesses they need to be looking at how things are working, meaning their business model every 18 months, that way there might only be small implementations, for the large businesses then I say every six months, but for small to medium, you are usually OK with every 18 months, unless things of course are not working!

OK, so we have set up social media, we are organically posting based on our research, we have built a blog, we are putting engaging content on the Blog, we are getting a steady flow of potential customers, we are building a website and building intrigue! Now, while you are building your website, building intrigue, you start to push your Blog within SEO! SEO is a tricky thing to combat, in truth, and being honest I have a team that works for me, so I have designs, SEO agents, and Social media consultants, who only do my SEO for me! This is a team I have that work alongside me with my clients. For example, if a client comes to me and wants the takeover strategy to go into their business and give it an overhaul, my team and I will work with their staff. Still, my internal team as I mentioned above will come into the business and work on their interior based solutions, which is web design, email marketing campaigns, social media marketing, funnels, and SEO implementation, this also works with their paid ads, our email marketing team who are content writers will write their ads for them and we build the business digitally.

In contrast, my team and I make the company internally, growing their sales teams and internal staff. So, SEO, if you are a business that needs growth, a good SEO team is needed, but if you are starting, do it yourself. it’s cheaper, and you have the time at this point! As I mentioned in our last Blog, you will have a daily strategy to work to and a weekly and a monthly; this would be put in there so we can work it into your day! So, at this point, you are growing organically on social media, you are filling your Blog with content, you are building, and you are doing the SEO on your Blog, which is going to increase your audience on your Blog, which will increase your audience on your website further down the line. We always say to use WordPress for your Blog because of the number of available plugins; there are plugins for everything. We also suggest you use Yoast SEO because you can plug it in, and it will do some work for you. It will cost you £100.00 for a year, but it is the best in the market place. I quickly want to touch on something that has just come to mind. Remember I said in our last Blog that you need to have a passion for your niche? This is one of the reasons why you need to be able to write about it! Do not worry if you can’t write; we will teach you how to do that. Anyone can write; you need to have a passion for what you are writing about and knowledge.

OK, guys and girls, that’s it for today; the next Blog will be on Monday, 7th August 2023, where we will again go into more detail about strategic planning. Be sure to tune in and make sure you are subscribed to all our social media platforms to keep up with all the latest information.

Thank you
